This is one of our favorite places in Southern California. It is and old Stage Coach stop from 1870, just north of Santa Barbara up in the mountains off of Hwy 154, The San Marcos Pass Rd., near the old Chumash Indian Caves.
Great local farm fresh food prepared daily, venison, buffalo, Ostrich, and great local wines. A+

CArmel by the Sea can be quite cold and foggy... a few miles inland is Carmel Valley (Hwy G16). It's always warm and sunny in this little valley, not to mention G16 is one of my favorite motorcycle roads in California.
